Welcome to Anne Varley Quilts!
I am a designer to the core and love to work with needle and thread, feeling the wonderful textures of fabric, to create quilts that warm my heart and bring aesthetic and bodily comfort. I draw inspiration from books, the landscape, my garden, science, museum collections, my family and friends. Welcome to my world where vintage and modern collide forming a harmonious balance.

In addition, from September Kathryn Edwards and I will be running a weekly appliqué class and a number of Orangery sewing days. We hope that some of you will be able to join us in the tranquil Somerset countryside.
This quilt on show at the Festival of Quilts deserves a special mention and a post all to itself.
